Troy Dumas Selected for NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship

Southeast Missouri State linebackers coach Troy Dumas has been awarded a 2008 National Football League Minority Coaching Fellowship with the Kansas City Chiefs. He will attend training camp with the Chiefs on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in River Falls, Wis., that begins on July 24th.

ESPNU Will Televise Tennessee Tech Game at Southeast Missouri

The Southeast Missouri State football team will gain national exposure when the Redhawks host Tennessee Tech in a game that will be telecast by ESPNU. The game will be played on Thursday, Sept. 11, with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.

Defense Tops Offense in Annual Spring Football Scrimmage

The defense scored 31 first quarter points on the way to a 50-11 win in the annual Southeast Missouri State football spring scrimmage. The defense had three interceptions in the first quarter including one returned 90 yards for a touchdown by Josh Woods.
